Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement
Hormone therapy dosed for your labs, not the average patient's.
Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) uses hormones that match the ones your body makes, compounded to the strength your provider prescribes for your labs and symptoms.

This page provides general educational information and does not replace advice from your prescriber or pharmacist. Ask your care team before changing treatment.
Commercial hormone products come in a handful of fixed strengths. Real patients don't. BHRT compounding lets your provider fine-tune estrogen, progesterone, or testosterone to your bloodwork, and adjust as your body responds, in creams, capsules, troches, or other forms that fit your routine.
Cindy has compounded hormone therapies here since 2017 and works directly with local prescribers on formulations. If you don't yet have a prescriber for hormone care, call us; we can point you to local providers who do this work.

Common questions
Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement, straight answers
How is BHRT different from regular hormone therapy?
Bio-identical hormones are molecularly identical to the ones your body produces. Compounding also lets the dose be customized instead of rounded to the nearest commercial strength.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes. BHRT is prescription therapy based on your labs and symptoms. We work from your provider's order and can coordinate with them on the formulation.
How long until I feel a difference?
Most patients and providers evaluate over weeks, not days, and adjust the dose from there. Your provider sets the follow-up schedule; we make each adjustment easy to fill.
Compounded medications are prepared for an individual patient under a prescriber's order and are not FDA-approved. They are available by prescription only. Talk with your provider about whether a compounded medication is right for you; nothing on this page is medical advice or a promise of results.
